UMM Publications are a medium by which the knowledge generated from UMM activities is then diffused and shared. UMM produces a variety of high-quality publications, including:
Compiled after each UMM workshop, these reports feature articles and papers from workshop participants, including professors, practitioners, experts and scholarship or award winning students. Focused on the theme of the workshop, the thematic paper forms a valuable discussion around a particular microfinance subject or trend.
Award winning PhD papers
PhD students who receive recognition from UMM are granted the option to publish their work in print in the frame of the European Microfinance Platform (e-mfp) with the financial support of the UMM initiative.
A new UMM program, students completing in-depth case studies in developing countries publish their work online and in print in the frame of the UMM program. The first case study publication will be published in Spring 2014.
Students who receive a UMM scholarship to conduct research or students who participate in the FREP program publish their findings in print at the completion of their research and data analysis. Their work can be found on the Scholarship winners page.
Master students who produce outstanding work and earn a UMM award have their work published by UMM. Master theses are published in full in print by IBIDEM and the abstracts are available online on the Award Winners page.
The bi-annual UMM newsletter features recent UMM activities and highlights opportunities for future involvement for students, professors and practitioners.
