UMM Awards Program
Master students who have completed their final thesis and PhD students who have written an article on a financial inclusion-related topic at universities in the European Union are eligible to apply for UMM Awards.
The award is granted to students who conduct outstanding research in the field of financial inclusion.
The winning PhD candidate will receive the award in an official ceremony at the European Microfinance Week in Luxembourg and receive a prize money of 500€.
The winning Master candidate will be awarded during an official ceremony at the European Microfinance Week in Luxembourg and receive a prize money of 500 €. An article of 20-25 pages or 6,000 – 10,000 words (with ISSN number, proofread, edited and formatted) summarizing the master’s thesis will be published in an academic journal and the complete master’s thesis will be made available online.
The 2014 UMM Award Winners have been granted during the European Microfinance Week in Luxembourg.
